How to clean a POS screen and printer

Safe cleaning for the screen and the receipt printer. About ten minutes.

Turn the system off and unplug it before you clean anything.

Do not spray cleaner on the screen. Put a little isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber cloth, wipe in a circle, then dry with a second clean cloth.

Paper towels and window sprays can scratch or cloud the glass.

For the printer, unplug it, wipe the outside with 60 to 80 percent isopropyl alcohol, and let it dry fully before you plug it back in.

Never clean a printer while it is on, and do not let liquid run inside.
